In July, the Des Fleurs Garden Club toured the lovely Herb Garden at Spring Grove
Cemetery and Arboretum. The Herb Society of Greater Cincinnati designed and created
this garden, which included kitchen herbs, medicinal herbs, and native herbs. Then the
Des Fleurs Club took a tram ride tour of the cemetery and saw unusual trees like a 400-
year-old White Oak, a 350-year-old Chinquapin Oak, a 300-year-old Burr Oak, a
Weeping Beech, a Korean Pine, an American Holly, a Wildfire Black Gum, and a
Nordmann Fir. The trees were amazing and beautiful, and the grounds were well-kept.
